“Great leadership underpins commercial success”
I firmly believe that organisations underutilise the capabilities of their workforce, and that, if leaders could only harness that potential, their ability to grow would be exponential. The commercial cost of employee disengagement and the failure to retain great people is an opportunity for those organisations with the willingness to do something differently.
I have spent over twenty-three years working within the healthcare arena, having joined Welcome as a graduate recruit. During its transition to becoming GlaxoSmithkline and in my time at Novartis I was fortunate to be trained as an Advanced Performance Coach, gain counselling skills, lead a business transformation programme and work in roles across the organisations from first and second line management to coaching and marketing. More recently as a Consultant I have worked with organisations across the NHS and healthcare sectors.
Fortunate to have worked with some great leaders over my time in business, I have equally been exposed to the challenges of working within and leading teams in large multi-national organisations.
Moving to Gaia Leadership was an obvious choice for me; presenting an alternative approach to the leadership status quo, that allows both the individual and the organisation to flourish. Working with Gaia Leadership has shown me how great leadership can underpin commercial success.
